Nature Eco Products is the vision of Founder Ananthan EV, a passionate social entrepreneur dedicated to sustainable development and community transformation.
Since 2009, he has been actively promoting the value of vetiver through awareness programmes, seminars, workshops, entrepreneurship development initiatives, and practical training sessions. His mission extends beyond creating eco-friendly products—it is about creating opportunities, preserving traditional skills, and inspiring people to build sustainable livelihoods.
Over the years, he has trained and mentored Self-Help Groups (SHGs), rural artisans, aspiring entrepreneurs, students, and women, helping them develop practical skills and generate sustainable income through vetiver-based products.

What Does Eco-Friendly Really Mean?
Eco-friendly means earth friendly or not harmful to the environment. This term most commonly refers to products that contribute to green living or practices that help conserve resources like water and energy. Eco-friendly products also prevent contributions to air, water and land pollution — one can engage in eco-friendly habits by being more conscious of how resources are used.
Nature Eco Products are products that do not harm the environment, whether in their production, use, or disposal. When in use, they help conserve energy, minimize carbon footprint, and do not lead to substantial toxicity or pollution.
Our green products are biodegradable, recyclable, or compostable — they do not upset the ecological balance when disposed of.
Some products are made from recycled materials, reducing the need for new raw materials and landfill waste.
Demand for recycled products helps complete the recycling loop and sustain the recycling industry.
Since 2009, Rooted in Puducherry
Nature Eco Products was established in Puducherry in 2009 by E.V. Ananthan, an Ex-IT Employee, alongside extremely skilled weavers and Self-Help Groups from Erode district, Tamil Nadu. We engage in manufacturing natural fibre handicraft products by incorporating vetiver fibre in combination with different fabrics.
CSIR-CIMAP Aroma Mission Beneficiary
Nature Eco Products became a CSIR-CIMAP Aroma Mission beneficiary from 2018, and has since been supplying vetiver products to events organised by CSIR-CIMAP (Council of Scientific & Industrial Research – Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants), Govt. of India.
